Update We received a call from our Stone Road location to coordinate the delivery of our sectional and all worked out as they described. I had a pleasant conversation with the store manager who expressed sincere desire to ensure my experience with them was a positive one...and in the end it was. It was explained to me they are making efforts toward maintaining pro-active communication re: order timelines and deliveries. They do have great quality products. By maintaining open communication and managing expectations, Structube will keep customers happy and loyal. Thank you Guelph Structube - we love our SOFT sectional!
The showroom was beautifully laid out with lots of merchandise to see and touch. George was super helpful, very knowledgeable. He delivered 5-star service. I would shop here again and highly recommend this store!
Very, very disappointed. "We are in the midst of a global pandemic" as told when I called for an update. Patronizing and insulting. I do not need to be reminded of this thank you very much. Just lost an in-store shopper. What you need to do is be honest with your customers at the time of purchase by telling them that their order is at least 2-3 months from being delivered (ordered in September). Manage expectations. I believe this is their business model - pandemic or not. Should have thought better before buying my second sofa shortly after the first but at the time I was still under the belief that my first order was arriving on the date they specified. I will update this comment when/if my orders arrive.
It's like shopping on Wish for furniture. I was quoted 2-3 weeks for delivery of my items, and it's been over a month since the quoted date with no correspondence from Structube. No tracking information, no shipping updates, nothing. They have no problem taking your money for furniture, but won't bother letting you know when it will come (if ever!). When I contacted them, I got a copy-and-paste response (with no apology for being 8+ weeks late on their quoted delivery) that told me to check if my items are in stock on their website as a method to estimate delivery. I strongly suggest that if you would like to receive your furnishings while they are still in style, you should shop anywhere else but here. Update: Ordered and paid in full September 2020, have not received any of my items or any contact from Structube yet (Dec 2020). Update 2: Although I never got a clear answer, it became obvious I would not be receiving my items until March 2021 at the earliest. The staff at the store were apologetic and provided a full refund without hassle. But, why a company would take my money in the first place knowing very well that they could not deliver the items for 6+ months is beyond me.
They have good modern and trend furniture, but the service is poor. They give you a date when the item will arrive, but is no true, it is supposed to get my stuff on October 8, I call them they gave me so many excuses and said it will take around 2 more weeks (they don’t give exact days) Then I called and was told call back a week later, then a week later told me call back next week. Called again today and I am told we can't give you any estimate on when it'll be delivered as we don't have that information, but maybe will be available for November 27, it is very disrespectful. Also, when you call you need to stay at the line for 40 minutes waiting for some one to tell you they don have idea about dates. It is the worst place to buy they are not serious and most of the time do not have the furniture available.
Went into the Guelph location today to purchase dining chairs and a coffee table that I had already picked online. Walked in- was the first customer. 5 associates by the cash desk. Took my time to walk around and find the items I wanted. Wasn't even greeted until I made my way to the back of the store- despite everyone clearly watching me walk in. I was in the store for approx 25 mins. Not one person asked me if I needed help. One guy walked around on his cell phone the whole time. Walked away without buying the chairs or table. Horrible service. Will never shop here again. If I could give them a negative star rating I would.
