When we purchased our explorer in Sept of 2023 there were some issues with the AC and heated seat as they weren’t working on our test drive. We were told when we picked it up they would be fixed. Heated seat works great, and being that we were at the end of sept - the AC seemed to work for the short time we used it. We later found out used parts were used for the repair. Two weeks after taking the vehicle home we noticed a lot of water in the interior. After a lot of back and forth and attempts to fix it that lasted (conveniently for the dealership) way past the 30 days. We were assured many times it would be resolved. Not to worry at all. Staff did attempt to fix it and allowed us loaner cars (we are 2.5 hours away almost) they even hired a third party - who turned out to provide awful service. We had more repairs on the leaking in January. In June we reached out to the dealership again because we noticed the leak still happening. Hard to tell if floors are wet in the winter and spring months due to snow/water from your boots. The car is still moist inside to this day. The AC stopped working in May when we started to use it again. This is when we found out from the dealership that it was hard parts. At this point we have also had to put in a water pump as well. Understandably we did purchase a used vehicle- but paid a pretty penny for it. We have also had to repair the AC that was supposed to have been fixed. Twice now. I called asking to speak with the owner a few times but was only ever able to speak with the service manager. Although I think Randy tried his best, this car is a complete lemon. It wasn’t cheap and has now just recently left us stranded 4 hours from home with more repairs to do. I hope this review reaches the owner as I see they reply to others. I have full documentation on this almost one year journey and I think we were more than patient. It’s time to make it right Automarket. Stopping at Auto market that day buying that vehicle is a huge regret we have.
UPDATE: It's now 2 years and a month, ONE glitse It's about 1month and a year today 15th Nov.2024, and my Subaru is still flawless... After looking and test driving numerous cars I came upon AutoMarket and after testing 2 cars I picked a 2018 Subaru Forester, Jack have been so instrumental thruout the process, was very professional and a man of his words. I won't hesitate recommending AM to prospective buyers, this place sells goodcars at good set prices, no hassle.
Purchased a 2015 wrx premium that seemed to be in great condition for a good price. On day 2 of ownership I noticed that the car didn’t seem to have the power it should on hard acceleration. Long story short the car had an extremely worn out clutch. I called about having it replaced and maybe getting some incentive towards the cost of parts and labour but they seemed hesitant. I know how dealerships can be so decided to replace the clutch myself to avoid the hassle. Kinda just disappointed I didn’t t notice this on the test drive before I signed. I guess that’s what I get for buying a used Subaru Other than that the people that work at the front desk and the finance manager were very nice people. Tom who sold me the car seemed to be really pushy and ignore my concern for the worn belt and dirty fluids i mentioned I wanted replaced. I had also asked for a list of what had been replaced on the vehicle to pass safety and nothing was given. When I went to pick up the car they seemed to want to get me in and out as fast as possible. It’s been about 2 months since ownership now and have only put 3000kms on the car I don’t drive it too hard and I follow all service recommendations. The car now makes this horrible knocking noise at about 2-3k rpm on light throttle. My only Suspicion is that low quality oil was used on the oil change before I bought it or my Subaru has just chosen its time to blow up. The brakes also had 0 lube on them and the rears are wearing unevenly and will have to be replaced soon.
we bought Infinity QX60 last year and had tons of problems, when we get one fixed another problem comes up. We live in barrie and have to go all the way to guelph, wasting a day time and so much money as well. If there was an option of giving negative I would have given that
