Please open a store in Peterborough! This is my wife and I's favourite shoe store to shop at, hands down. You can't beat the selection. We make a point to stock up on shoes for the kids when we're in Guelph, a store closer to our area would be great

I came to the store having bought a pair of Merrell running shoes back in November which I loved. When I looked at them I noticed both shoes had a tear in them just through every day use. I was thrilled when I showed them and they replaced them at no charge because the shoes shouldn't have torn . The saleswoman was wonderful and actually went and found my size. I live in Hamilton and when I need new runners....I will come back to Show Per!

Very unprofessional customer service. And not helpful at all. They sized. My kid as 13 and the boots came out to be big, the kid wear the boot one day and they wouldn’t return it. They told me clean it and I did then they said it looks worn out and they didn’t return it. Do not shop here. Their return policy is not reasonable and price is too high. If I could give 0 stars I would.

My wife bought a pair of shoes. Wore them for one day. Her feet were very sore after a 50 minute walk outside. We went to return them that evening and the store refused to take them back because they had been worn outside. When my wife purchased the shoes she was told she had 90 days to return them for a store credit. Not true. It would have been better to try them on at the store and order them directly from the manufacturer. Hopefully our $200 lesson will help save someone else the cost of learning.

I recently purchased a pair of running shoes, they were on sale for $107.00. The cashier advised that they could be returned with a receipt within 30 days. I took them home and found that they pinched my foot so I decided to return them. I was very dissapointed to learn from a different cashier that they would provide me with a gift card only no refund because they are on sale. I advised what the other cashier had said about returning them and she never warned their policy is gift card only. Once I use my gift card here, I will never return as a customer. I ended up finding better shoes at a better price at Sportchek.

Just went to this store to take advantage of the Mephisto sale going on along with two other ladies. Two young boys were running up and down the isles. We asked them to stop when one ran into me. They just kept on running. I asked the salesperson to stop them from running near us. He said "I can't do that". He was horrified that he had been asked. Then they ran into one of the people I was with and she yelled at them for almost knocking her over. No "excuse me", nothing from the boy. Not a word from a parent although she knew exactly what they were doing. Seems to me the store is responsible for stopping those kids from creating a very unsafe shopping environment. Behave or get out. The store is not a playground. I will not go back.

Most embarrassing, unprofessional experience!! I used to frequent this store pre-COVID for the clerks' expertise in helping me with my hard-to-fit feet, and helping me comb through the very disorganized aisles to find my sizes, and assist in getting the proper fit. Today was my first post-COVID experience and my last Shoeper experience for life. I am a middle-aged legal professional who came in on a day off to invest in a quality pair of walking shoes to fit my new orthotics. I spent well over an hour in the store, tucked away in various corners, sitting on the floor to try shoes on and do my best to keep out of the way of other shoppers. No staff approached me to ask if I wanted help setting up out of the way in the fitting area, which was on the other side of the store, and I had too many pairs to try on to carry myself. The staff who were working there were extremely young (not a problem), extremely dishevelled (oversized sweat pants and tshirts a la university student grunge), and totally inattentive (swept past me several times without asking if I needed anything). I overheard someone ask a young woman to tidy up an aisle and she said "Can't, going on break" - the professional vibe was NOT there, and I missed the familiar staff who had been so helpful in previous years. One staff who actually seemed to be working passed me about 45 minutes into my visit, and I made mention to her that I was taking a while because I'm trying to fit to new orthotics, and she made a quick suggestion for me. I struggled until I found a pair that fit, at which point another staff YELLED from the other end of the aisle, "Need any help?" then carried on his way. As I was doing a last look in an aisle to make sure I couldn't find a pair I liked in my size (because the aisles are INCREDIBLY disorganized - think PayLess Shoes but if they had 0 staff at all) - a very tall male staff I hadn't seen previously hovered over me (way too close for COVID protocol) and asked if I "had anything in my purse" - I showed him the smelly orthotics and compression socks I brought with me to try on and he quickly carried on his way. I have represented legal clients who have been accused of theft at this store and swear their innocence to no end. It's not my business to know whether they are truly innocent or not, but after this experience, it is obvious that ShoePer staff is way more intent on criminalizing their shoppers than they are assisting in finding a quality shoe. Every brand you carry can be sourced elsewhere - your prices are outrageous, your store is filthy and disorganized, your staff are unhelpful and more intent on "catching thieves" than fitting shoes. There is zero incentive to shop at your business. Best wishes making other customers feel like dirt.
