I visited Shoppers Drug Mart today to buy a perfume as a Christmas gift for my dad, and Jeema helped me. She was absolutely amazing — very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Terrible pharmacy. A couple months ago I refilled my prescription 5 days in advance. I went in to pick it up and was told it was not ready yet. I was a little irritated but said I'd wait. 45 minutes go by and I still heard nothing. Eventually someone came out and told me that they were out of my medication and were only able to give me a portion of the refill. The workers were not able to tell me why they waited until then to let me know and not within the past 5 days when I could have gotten my prescription filled elsewhere. That was the second time something like that has happened to me there. What is the point in requesting a couple days to refill the medication if they don't even fill it in that time? The lack of communication and complete disregard of my time wasted is why I will never use this stores pharmacy again.
TERRIBLE STORE!!!! I talked to this supervisor or manager her name was Lisa she is soooo rude and uncooperative. The students are nice there I know they are trying their best to survive in that work setting. You could tell they are not nice to their employees, they gossip ALOT! Behind everyones back and that is very unprofessional. I really hope at least Lisa is gone, the store might be a better place then. I would not go back and I honestly seen them fighting with their customers a lot especially a merchandiser named Nick. He chases people outside of the store and yells at them a lot for no reason. The entire store is very unprofessional I have no clue who's even in charge of all this.
I am thankful today for the excellent service and advice I received from the pharmacist Hesha at this location. Not only was she professional and efficient but she offered me the help I needed in a kind, caring and cheerful manner. It is such a wonderful thing to find this type of help when you are not at your best and in need of healthcare. Thank you!
The woman at the beauty shop was so pleasant and cheerful! She went out of her way to help me find exactly what I needed and gave me amazing recommendations on perfumes. Really appreciated her kindness and knowledge made the whole shopping experience enjoyable. Highly recommend visiting!
The pharmacy team is great and do their best. They always look a bit rushed and flustered, but most of the time, the line is patient with them. However, the female pharmacist with the long curly hair is very rude. I have had more than one experience with her that left me feeling embarrassed or ashamed for asking a question. Most recently she laughed at me over the phone for asking if I was okay going a few days without a certain medication. Then when she said they would put in the refill request, I had to call back after 5 days to see if it was ready. Despite having refill notifcations turned on via text and on the app. Unfortunately, for the judgement and mistreatment of the female pharmacist at this branch, I have transferred all of my prescriptions to the neighbouring Rexall pharmacy. I'll be doing my business there from now on.
I went to pickup an over the counter medication this morning and went to the pharmacy desk to ask for clarification. The male pharmacist was incredibly rude and dismissive and made me feel like an idiot for asking a simple question. He also asked me a personal question about my health out loud in front of the entire staff and then when I walked away I overheard him talking about it in a joking manner. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable and I will be switching to Rexall for all further pharmacy needs.
