Nice well maintained facility. Good sized rooms. Excellent food at the Elements restaurant. Good for family - small play structure outside. Also heated pool with sauna...just wish it was a hot tub then it would be perfect.
Very odd layout, bathroom was small, bed was comfortable and place was clean. We didn't receive any shampoo in the room so we went to front desk. Within 5 minutes we had bottles delivered to our room. Great service
Reminiscent of 25 years ago when our boys young. Now we return for a family reunion with grandchildren. The place still carries the same friendly atmosphere, helpful staff and nicely kept hotel. Still serves a buffet breakfast like wr remember. Our rooms face out over the atrium and indoor pool and sauna. Come and enjoy a weekend away with your children/grandchildren.
Great to look at from the outside but the rooms are very dated. You dont have to look far to see that the cleaners are just doing the bare minimum. Has an internal swimming pool which is open to the rest of the hotel meaning everywhere smells of chlorine. On the plus side the location is great.
I did not stay overnight, I was here for an all day conference, therefore, I can not comment on the holel rooms. The main entrance and reception area, including the front desk, is very large, nicely decorated and clean, there are very high ceilings, giving an atrium like feel. There are multiple sitting areas with comfortable chairs, sofas and tables. The large restaurant is in this area and was very nice. We did not eat in the restaurant, but the layout, large fireplace, and open felling of the restaurant, made it feel inviting. The mid sized pool is also in this area, it too looked inviting, there were people, mostly families, swimming all day. It has a large concrete patio surrounding the pool. The pool looked clean, well maintained and is fully handicapped accessible, including a wheelchair lift, as the pool area is recessed from the main through Fair.I would say having the pool in this area is both good and bad. From the second you walk in the front door, the whole area, including the restaurant, has that chlorine smell to it. With the pool being in the main area, I could understand some might be uncomfortable swimming with so many people constantly walking by.They have a nice workout room available, it is near the pool, so on the main floor, but is located in its own enclosed room, meaning you are not fully on display, but one wall is glasses and people can see you working out.The main floor, public bathrooms, were clean and well stocked. The meeting room we were in all day, was nice, well decorated and property set up. My only complaint would be they did not come and refill the water jugs.I did not interact with any staff members so I can not comment on that aspect.Overall, it is a nice hotel, for meetings at least, i would recommend this facility.
