The best shawarma in Wellington by far. The service is amazing the food is flavourful and fresh the chicken has the best spices and the place is clean at all times. And the prices are fair for such high quality food. I highly recommend Pita Hot.
This is my favourite place to eat and hangout with good wifi!! In response to the previous one-star reviewer, I was present in the restaurant at that time, and honestly, they came in and we quite rude from the start. They even asked if they could switch out the drink for a burger?? In what world does the value of a drink compare to the value of a burger! Anyways, the girls working clearly did everything they could. The rice has never been "oily" for me and the kabob's are extremely tasteful. Lastly, I love love love their hummus!
Amazing staff, they know my order right when I walk it. I love their punch card program. The best chicken shawarma in town! Not to mention it's a reasonable price compared to the rest of the city.
We asked for a family meal. The staff told us that the family meal would be prepared by owner only(as they don't know how to cook), who was not present that moment. Then we went for another option, which took 35+ mins to be prepared whereas the normal waiting time is 20 mins approx. The customer service is lethargic and not up to the mark; they were unable to accomodate the customers without asking the owner. The food prepared by them was not that good. We all felt heavy after eating half of the meal. The rice was too oily, the kababs and chicken were without spices and overcooked.The owner must train his staff properly that they could provide efficient and timely service in his absence. I don't recommend the restaurant.
