The employee was very rude to me, and I’m extremely disappointed. I’ve been a regular customer at this store, but I won’t be coming back. There was no respect shown to the customer.
My Fav so much I'm thinking of bringing Wally for a visit so that says alot ? the staff have been very helpful ... especially after the bandaid in the Fancy Feast fiasco and super friendly ?
The store is usually neat, tidy and fully stocked. The staff, for the most part, are not helpful in any way. The majority of the time they are on their phones the second I enter the store, right up to (and during) the transaction, and immediately following. More than once I've heard customers asking about things, and the wrong information is told or conveyed to the customer. Having worked at multiple Pet Valu locations, I know what the expectations are for staff, and this store does not represent the company well.
We took our little chihuahua lady in to petvalu looking for a new halty and leash. She is quite new to our family and is kinda prickly with "handling". The man that helped us was all over her, tightening this and loosening that...it was awesome. Thank you for your help petvalu...we will be back!
I’ve only been to this location once and it was a last minute decision because I thought maybe they might have a sweater for my Marty when the nights get cold at the cottage. They had very few selections understandably, but they had one sweater I really liked, except it was too small. As I looked at other things though, the man working there found the right size of the sweater in the back hidden under other clothes for him! I was so pleased and bought it. I also heard that the cats there get a lot of playtime and interaction with customers which is probably why they are so sleepy.
Friendly service, pets allowed in store, Smaller store but lost of variety. Staff very helpful if your looking for something specific or needs some suggestions.
I have been going to this location for over 8 years. It is locally owned by an animal loving family. They have a massive variety of everything you could ever want, and the store is always clean. Staff are friendly and clearly animal lovers. There are always cats in the store that make each visit a delight. The I live on the South East end of Guelph and drive to this location. Love this store.
