i live in Vaughan and have been going to this shop for 2 years now for repairs and maintenance. Happy the owner is super friendly, honest and will do his best to put your/vehicles needs first. the crew that works there is friendly, experienced, backed by Hap to get any job done. my experiences so far have been great they do there best to find available parts and give you secondary options if needed, with your budget in mind. having a trust worthy shop with great mechanics brings me peace of mind knowing my truck is in good hands! shout out to one of the mechanics Gary who always does a phenomenal job and treats my truck like his own. you can't ask for better service, quality and professionalism from Kams Auto.
Overpriced. I brought my car in after some curb damage, and they told me I had a bent front right strut and a bad rear wheel bearing — quoting $1,500. I don’t know much about cars, so I felt really anxious and unsure. After calling other shops in the area, I realized price was a few hundred dollars higher. I also had to pay a $200 inspection fee take my car back. A few weeks later, a different shop inspected it and found the strut was straight, fixed my issues for way less.
I took my car to this mechanic for wheel alignment, and after it was done, the car started bouncing backwards over potholes. I went back to him, and he said the problem was with the rear shock absorbers and that the alignment was fine. Then I went to Honda Cambridge and told them that the car was bouncing backwards over bumps and that the mechanic had said the problem was with the shock absorbers. They checked and said the problem wasn't with the rear shock absorbers, but rather with the wheel alignment, which needed to be corrected. They made the repairs, and these are the pictures.
I recently had to deal with the nightmare of diesel in my vehicle's fuel system, and this place saved the day. I was referred to another store in the GTA, but they quoted me a whopping $4000 and a 7-day waiting period for the same service. That's when I searched for other options and found this gem with the highest rating in Guelph. Firstly, I was impressed by their commitment to customer service. The staffs at this auto repair shop were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional from the start. Even though most repair shops don't open on weekends, they still answered my phone call and were able to quickly assess my situation over the phone and provide clear instructions on what to do next. Once they opened on Monday morning, they promptly called me to drop off the key so they could start working on my vehicle right away. This level of attention and dedication is rare in the auto repair industry, and it set them apart from the competition. Once I dropped off my key, they got to work right away and completed the diesel removal in no time. The quality of their work was equally impressive. They were able to ensure that all the diesel was removed (I drove 3km after putting diesel in so inside of my engine there is 0.5 kg in total) and that the fuel system was thoroughly cleaned. When Happy (not sure whether it’s his name) called me to say that my car was ready the next day, I suddenly remembered that I needed to do an alignment again. So, I temporarily asked him if he could do it and they were more than happy to oblige. In fact, they were able to finish the alignment in just one hour, which is remarkable compared to my previous experience of waiting for 5 days at another repair shop (and it was even not fully fixed at that time). I was impressed by their expertise and attention to detail, as well as their commitment to customer satisfaction. They provided me with additional tips and advice on how to maintain my vehicle's fuel system to prevent future issues, which was greatly appreciated. Their pricing was sooooo fair and transparent, with no hidden fees or surprises. When I asked them for advice on how to modify my Wrangler, I was impressed by their honest opinions. They didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary services or products, and their recommendations made it clear that their main purpose was not just to make a profit. They genuinely cared about my satisfaction as a customer and were willing to take the time to provide me with all the information I needed to make an informed decision. Overall, I highly recommend this auto repair shop for anyone in need of diesel removal which I really hope you never have to deal with this problem or any other auto repair services. They were a lifesaver for me, and I will definitely be returning for all my future auto repair needs. Thank you for providing exceptional service at an amazing price!!!!!
My Mazda 5 had the "Check engine" sign came on and the team at Kam's checked the car over. The diagnostic intelligence especially SATNAM exhibited and resolved the issue in no time is really incredible..
