Staff were fantastic. Just snacks .. no menu. Lager and fire ale were fantastic, the amber had a bit too much clove taste for my liking and the stout.... idk I took one sip and couldn't finish it. Overall it a nice brewery... played darts and had a good time. It's definitely worth stopping in. Bought some larger to go.
This place had some great beers and they also even had an awesome bar to get drinks at. They had a special cocktail that I tried and absolutely loved it.
We hosted a 50th birthday party and had a fabulous time! The drinks were excellent, atmosphere was perfect and the staff were amazing! Highly recommend!
Happy to see another brew spot in Guelph. Good vibes, decent beer, games and they even have event nights (markets/live music). Mostly high top tables - one area has a lower bench. Can imagine event nights could fill up fast but no trouble on a Saturday afternoon pop in after dog walk. Good first impressions on their Amber, Lager and IPA. We'll be back!
We have been in for dinner a few times. Food was good and staff was pleasant. Tonight we waited patiently to order drinks. …..after ordering our dinners we waited 1.5 hours to be served. We did get a drink but the server didn’t come back to offer seconds. We did inquire about the time span and we’re told they only had one cook and they were busy. The servers weren’t too busy that they couldn’t head out for a cigarette. The food was good but it takes too long to get your meal. Probably won’t be back for a meal.
Went for dinner last night, walked in and was told by the server to take a seat anywhere, so we did. (It wasn’t very busy.) We didn’t get acknowledged at all after that. No menu, no drinks, nothing. Servers were hanging out behind the bar, and chatting with people at other tables. They must have known them because we saw them eating some of their onion rings. After 15-20mins we got up and left. As we were leaving we overheard another table discussing how they couldn’t believe we hadn’t been served yet, so it was even obvious to others we had been completely ignored. Guess the servers were too busy eating their friends onion rings to bother with us.
We're happy to find a brewery that serves a proper meal. Not many do so we were pleased to discover Wrinkly Bear. And we were thrilled that the food is so excellent along with a proper beer selection.
