Just recently bought some wiper blades and the staff was very helpful helping me find the size I needed for my vehicle. I will definitely come back to this location
Went in to purchase an oil filter and was told $6 for the regular and $14 for the higher quality. I chose the $14 and when I went to get checked out the total was over $21. I asked him why and he tried to check me out in a different till and was still $21. I asked for the $6 one instead and his boss said it was $11. I don’t mind the prices but I don’t like being lied too. They didn’t even tell me the total until I saw the charge on the debit machine. I was also given attitude.
Me and my boyfriend went in there looking for exhaust pipe and the worker asked if we needed help looking for anything my boyfriend explained and he was very rude and not helpful at all, he acted like we were stupid and only had one size for exhaust pipes. Would not recommend coming here for your needs find a different store.
Dropped into Parts Source for a few items. Andrew B helped me find what I needed. One item was special order and he found my other items. He answered a few of service questions for me. Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Went in to obtain a warranty replacement on a defective car battery that I bought 2 months ago. Dead battery left me stranded in the cold. As a result of this I had purchased a battery from Canadian tire to get me back home. All I was looking for was a warranty replacement under the 4 year replacement period. Had the receipt and all needed however the employee refused to complete the exchange saying the battery tested fine despite the issue was clearly the battery. He had an attitude from the start, advised to come back in an hour while he tested the battery and when I returned refused to complete the exchange. I went to another store and not only had excellent customer service they refunded my money instead as I had bought a battery elsewhere. Guelph has many other part stores I would recommend going to one of those and save yourself the attitude from this staff.
If you have been on the hunt for parts hard to find or not part source always seems to find what you are looking for. If I could give them a higher rating I would thank you part source for never letting me down
Place has gone so downhill since Canadian Tire Corp took over from the previous owner (Norm Hare). They've also lost a great deal of long time employees and knowledge. Just not what it used to be unfortunately. I don't personally find the staff to be anywhere near as knowledgeable as past personnel sadly.
