Miijidaa has become a Guelph staple. It has an outstanding selection of food with options for different diets. Food ranges from pizza to stew to specific Canadian dishes from across the country. All the meals are well seasoned and very comforting. I personally recommend the 3 sister's ragout and smoked tofu - it is incredible. Prices are good for the quality of food and atmosphere. If the weather permits make sure you sit on their cozy back patio. Only once have we had less than perfect service.
Great atmosphere, service was good. We got the smoked char and shared a Canadian pizza. The char was nothing special and we were not a fan of the 'kale ribs.' We ended up asking for bread crackers on the side. The pizza was really good, the crust was flavourful and not too doughy. It could've been loaded with more toppings though, one slice didn't even have cheese on it.
Great local restaurant! Most of the food is locally sourced, and the seafood is from sustainable sources. Beautiful atmosphere and is a great addition to the Bookshelf. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend visiting Miijidaa, and the Bookshelf if you are in the downtown core.
Love miijidaa! Its been a great spot for date night dinners, and bringing a group. The staff are so caring and helpful weve always had a great experience. I love that theyre local and the food here is always top notch. When someone asks where to go in Guelph, Miijidaa is on my top 5 for sure!
Miijidaa is my favourite restaurant in Guelph! The service is always amazing and the food is always tasty. Prices are fair, usually around $100 for a dinner for two with an app, entrees and drinks. Although I wish they would add new items to their menu a bit more often, I love their staples like the beef cheeks, burger and smoked pickles. They also have a great and unique cocktail menu and many local wine and beer options. In addition to all of this, their commitment to supporting local suppliers and to cultivating a sustainable community is second to none in the Guelph restaurant industry. Thanks for many great meals!
