I ordered a falafel pita here awhile ago and it was awfully bland, especially the falafel itself. I also made the mistake of ordering it spicy because, I kid you not, I was only able to take maybe 2-3 bites before throwing it away. It was inedible. I am Mexican, so I am very familiar with heat, but that sauce was absolutely ridiculous. The guy who took our order had both earbuds in as well. Sure he could hear us, but it looks very unprofessional nonetheless. Would not recommend this place. Also, the snide comments on behalf of the restaurant to those who give bad reviews are childish.
I think some of the reviews are fake/written by friends or family of the owner since if you scroll down to the bottom there are a lot of five star reviews with no text at all. I got a falafel wrap and it was lacking in flavour. I'm not sure there was any tahini on it (at least I couldn't taste it), it wasn't spicy at all though I asked for it to be, and there were no pickles as you would usually expect. The service was really great though, the guy helping me out was super friendly, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars.I think Tangy and Tasty tastes a lot better though they cost a little more.
One of my favorites! The food is hot and delicious, especially when the owner is cooking. Some of the younger staff put way too much sauce, so when I see those ones working I just ask for light sauce. I've tried both the beef and the chicken shawarma pitas and the chicken shawarma platter, all are excellent. They take call ahead orders making it very convenient and have a large parking lot making it a superior option to anything downtown where there is no parking. I'm hungry just writing this review!
I love this place!Be prepared to wait a bit as every item is hand made. It's worth it. In addition to the helpful, friendly service you get amazing portion size. The chicken shawarma wrap is a favourite. Love the falafel is delicious. Great for take out but not keen on eating in. Enjoy!
Ordered a salad with chicken in top and it was so doused in not one but TWO types of thick dressing that it was soggy. Wish the staff were more interactive while making your meal like they are at other shops as this was not what I was expecting at all. No hummus, not pickles or turnips, and extra charge for a small pita bread.
