A hidden gem on Jones Baseline near Guelph…stopped in for some fresh garden red peppers and was amazed at the wonderful garden produce, savory meat selection and mouth watering bakery items! It’ll definitely be a place I frequent more often for that small town country market feel!!! ??????????
I found this place by accident, but I'm so glad I did! I purchased some Black Forest ham, a beautiful ribeye steak, a smoked pork chop and a few other items. Everything was delicious! I will definitely be back. Okay. I have been back twice now. I can't say enough about the crazy large chicken wings and the double smoked kielbasa. Outstanding!
Always had good products in the past. Not so now. When to buy 4 rib eyes and had trouble finding one-third had more meat than far 22.99 lb. She brought ou others that were not rib eyes. Took one anywY. Got it 4 home and was definitely one rib eye. Feel like I have been oibbed offer for fathers day. Will find manother place but I am sure they don't care.
I’ve been going to the Marketplace for about 5 years now since I first heard about it. Everything is perfection! From meats, fish, chicken, to baked goods, it’s all amazing. Great friendly staff!
This is a wonderful little market - the staff are awesome, the food is always fresh and well-stocked, and the meats are just fantastic. They have the best bacon in all of Guelph, I only buy from here now. Their sausages are amazing too, and every beef cut we’ve ever bought here was great! This is a nice place for kids (and adults) too because they have a play area + goats, mini ponies, etc. to look at in the back, and a bunny house up front!
Friendly staff and a great selection of local food. I recently picked up a great Valentine's Day package they were running, and everything was so great about it! It was tasty and easy to finish up cooking since all the prep work was done. I will be back to buy more sausages!
This place is awesome. They always have fresh local meats. They now make their pies,donuts and other goodies. Great hospitality and service. And they aren’t really any more expensive than Zehrs or longos
