It's two months since I purchased a used HP laptop from PCTrust. As I was sitting here using it (that I've done daily since I bought it), I was thinking about how thankful I am for the great service and incredible value this purchase has given me. I went in thinking that an i7 chip laptop would be simply too much for me to spend. The owner (SO SORRY I didn't get his name) showed me options that were immediately of interest. I took the laptop home and realized the power cable wasn't charging. Returned it within about two hours of purchasing it, and he replaced it with no fuss. Since then, this laptop has been all over Canada and the US with me, and never failed me once. Highly recommended. Excellent service, really nice guy and exceptional value!
The price that this store is selling graphics cards for atm is criminal. Literally asking upwards of 800 dollars more than new egg at the time of this review. They have also posted cards on kijiji for the same or more than the highest priced scalped cards. Nice way of building a local reputation by squeezing people for more money just because you can. 0/5 if I could give.
This guy is essentially a scalper with a storefront. I called asking if he had any of the 3000 series cards in stock and he continued to ask how much I was willing to pay before telling me what he was selling them for at his store. When he did tell me what he'd sell them for, it was $500 more than what you'd pay to kijiji scalpers. Complete scammer and I wouldn't recommend buying anything here.
Quick service is an advantage. Friendly service. John knows a lot about electronics. Not a place for discounts or sales. Keeps a nice inventory of new and used items. Have shopped here for over 10 years.
I needed a very specific charger for my laptop. I went to multiple best buys, private computer repair stores and wallmart in search but came up empty. As soon as I told the owner of PCTRUST my issue he immediately knew what I required and got my part. Although a messy store, he knew exactly where my part was.
I've never been happier with an electronic store. The man there is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. My husband and I bought a computer from PC Trust almost 7 years ago and took the computer in today for a tune up. The computer now runs like new!
Gone here several times for both obscure and current computer parts and been helped every time and got what I was needing at a reasonable price. It's a good solid computer shop and very useful to have in the downtown core.
