There are not enough words to describe Connie … an exquisite chef, a kind hearted and empathetic soul and the kind of business owner that goes above and beyond for her clients/friends and after all of these years I am honoured to call her a friend. I first met Connie over 15yrs years ago when she was doing cooking classes at a kitchen store and immediately her culinary skills blew me away. Her skill, her creativity, her charisma, do genuine, talented and loved making people happy by feeding them. Since then, I have hired Connie and her team for various events like private fancy dinner parties, backyard birthday bashes and my dad’s celebration of life. Each time she went well above expectation with her culinary delights, from the her custom crafted delectable menu to the set up to even the clean up. She took care of everything. I just said Connie I need you and she put it all together. And she did it again, she always gives 1000% for her clients!!! I reached out on Friday of a long weekend for a special request….there was a passing in my family and I was away. Within hours she had food ready and this is what she said when I thanked her “remember people come into your life for a reason, I am an acts of service woman and I do what I can for those I love and hold dear” Connie is not just an exquisite executive chef that will feed you well she is woman with a heart of gold and a genuine desire to nourish your heart and soul ??
Nancy & Nicole were super hospitable! Great maple latte and they gave us free biscotti on the house! Great convo and super friendly. Would recommend if you're in the area!
I’ve been here many times, for anything from last minute catering group lunch orders to stopping in for a quick sandwich! The service is always amazing, and the food is always great! Even when I had a craving for a chicken caesar wrap, the chef happily made one up for me even though it wasn’t on the menu that day ? My favourite spot when I’m in the area!
Menu is simple with good choices. They know they're a cafe and don't try to be more than that. Sandwich was delicious and staff was helpful and polite. Loose tea was a good choice.
Would like to thank you Connie and the team for catering a party this weekend. All I have to say is the food and service to top notch. They made everything we wanted and more. Such an easy process from start to finish. Highly recommend them for your next party.
this cafe puts a smile on my face when i walk inside. the immediate friendly (and very loud) greetings from the staff are so welcoming and feel like home. great sandwiches, GREAT coffee and great vibes overall. Big shoutout to Michael for always taking the time to chat and catch up, i always look forward to the conversation. definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area (or even if you’re not)
I must say this is the best egg salad on croissant my husband has ever had. I thoroughly enjoyed the lazy lasagna soup. Would’ve been lovely if served with a little bit of fresh bread or bun instead of dry crackers, but still, exceptional. Was not aware that it was a tiny café on the main floor of an office tower. Luckily, we got in and out before the lunch rush-hour.
