A lovely way to pass a few hours in Guelph. Lynn is a joy to listen to and to follow around to her favourite haunts. She clearly has great rapport with the local restaurateurs and makes her tour guests feel like they're part of a special club. I loved one of the restaurants so much that I made a reservation right on the spot! (Bin 23, heading there tonight!) I'll definitely recommend Taste Detours to locals and visitors.
We didn't know much about the history of Guelph and decided that a food tour would be the perfect way to learn about it. Lynn was a well informed guide/host. We moved around the city tasting at different restaurants accompanied by stories. Restaurant owners were so gracious in welcoming us and telling us about their business and history. Beyond impressed with Lynn and her tour that she has created. As a long time Guelphite I learned things about Guelph I never knew and had a lovely day roaming around the Royal City. I bought this at a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and my parents and everyone loved it. You will not be disappointed but instead very satisfied. The food is prepared just for you and you always feel welcome and well taken care of at all of the locations. Note: definitely dont eat before the tour! You absolutely get your moneys worth and are very full by the end. Thanks Lynn for a great time!
