Please be aware the meat they serve is not fresh!!!!!! I went there 2 days ago to get some chicken. Came home and while washing the chicken I noticed weird smell, i thought maybe its just fresh butchered chicken but I got for the very first time but KEEP in mind this was 2 days ago. I cooked the chicken the SAME DAY I GOT THE CHICKEN. The very next day i started vomiting because it was spoiled chicken they packed for me. They might be very friendly while serving but they know what they're doing wrong. I hope the owners know about the wrong doings of the shop. I m never going there again
Love the food but i have bought bread and bread sticks from here multipe times and you wanna know whats crazy the date expired 2024 feb 10 horrible experience. And if the owner is reading this please check your expirey dates
Such a fantastic store with the kindest staff. I went in for the first time today and the man who served me was such a pleasure to interact with, he was very generous, gave me tips on how to eat a food I'm trying for the first time, and was just so nice to talk to. Many beautiful products that aren't easy to find elsewhere in Guelph (for the fellow incense fans, this is the best selection of Satya that I've seen). I hope this business is well supported, these are the people and places that make cities better :)

Best Halal Grocery store!! I go every week to stock up on my various halal meats and groceries! Glad they have fresh naan, and veggies and sometimes my nephews love to eat their pistachio ice cream (which I can’t find anywhere else). My family and I cannot get enough of the saffron tea. We have it every night. I find myself in the store for more than 30 minutes wandering and grabbing my groceries once a week. From the welcoming owner, to the manager, and the kind butcher - I always feel comfortable in this store. It’s so clean and organized and they’re always willing to be at your service and have all the answers to each product! They always help me to find different ingredients and groceries as I am a chef and I cook different kinds of cuisines every week. Safa has all of it! My Afghan family and I will be stocking up all of Ramadan as usual and we are glad we found a halal store close to our home in the heart of Guelph! Thank you Rafi & Omar for your wonderful service! I have recommended all of our Afghan families and middle eastern friends!

This place is pretty cool! I went by and noticed their signs, so I walked in and was greeted by an amazing aroma of teas and dried fruits!! They had some samples of nuts and fruits which tasted really good. What I was more impressed by was the assortment of dried middle Eastern goods that I didn't even know about. Everything in the store was very authentic! They have these super cute tea cups and tea sets that I had to get so I got one for myself and my mom for mother's day! I also bought some tea to try out with the tea set tonight. The owners are really nice people that helped me out as soon as I walked in. They showed me around and explained what the things I didn't know about were and how they tasted. I would 100% recommend checking it out before they sell out of everything.
The first time I went to Safa Traders Ltd I tried their dateserts, its nut filled dates. It is AMAZING! Me and my husband have become addicted to it and make sure we have a box each week. It is super healthy and a great snack. Since then we have been buying all of our dry fruits and rice from here. Customer service is great. Waheed and the owner Rafi are very kind, welcoming men, really helpful in giving us information on the health benefits of each product that they have. Highly recommend this place. I also love how close to home it is now I don't need to go to Toronto everytime I need something.
