When I was looking, everyone said Royal. Glad I listened. Checked it out and was impressed with Sarahs friendly and professional approach. Its a very clean, well run facility and competitively priced. Very highly recommended.
We just visited Royal Storage for our storage needs and couldn't be happier with Sarah- her customer service goes above and beyond and she is friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. The facility is absolutely spotless and obviously well run. We feel great leaving our belongings here and know they're in good hands! Not to mention Sarah's dog Peanut is very cute :)
Royal Storage luckily had exactly what I needed in a time frame that was immediate, At a very competitive rate. Not to mention that Sarah, who answered the phone upon 2 rings was the friendliest voice to talk to and was able to help with my immediate needs and even booked me two units in case one wouldnt be enough. Upon entry was greeted by the same familiar voice that I had talked to two hours previously. It was quick, it was easy, it was great. Thanks Sarah and Team Royal Storage for the help!
Is it possible to give 'negative' 5 stars for this HELL HOLE! I had over 10 thousand dollars worth of art and antique furniture stolen from this place and the manager said there was nothing she could do, "it was not her problem." She refused to give me the phone number of her boss. I asked her to check the security tapes and access gate to see if she saw anyone loading their car with my property, in front of my storage locker. She said the tapes did not work "because they were always struck by lightning" and then I asked her to ask her friend, the 'cleaning guy' if he saw anyone or anything. Months passed by and she just ignored all my emails and phone messages. I told her I wanted to file an insurance claim (I was covered up to 25 thousand dollars) and she said she would send it and let me know what happened. Months passed and again she continued to ignore my messages and then she told me my claim was denied. I then called the police and a lawyer. The lawyer insisted on seeing the denied insurance claim and they discovered the manager lied to me and NEVER SENT A CLAIM!! Then the police insisted on speaking to the managers friend 'the cleaning guy' and conveniently the manager suddenly discovered my antique furniture in an empty storage locker. My lawyers were able to discover the phone number of the Royal Storage head office and when the owner was informed of the abuse I was forced to endure by the Royal Storage office staff, they were all fired. Of course nobody from the head office ever called me, to say they were sorry or offered to compensate me for the year of PURE HELL that I endured as a paying customer! So, if you want to be lied to, ignored for months on end, have your valuables stolen and be treated like garbage by the employees, then this HELL HOLE is the place for you.
I've had nothing but a positive experience with Royal Storage. From the initial contact, to the signing of rental papers, to the continued care, I highly recommend them. Natalie helped me when I started renting back 4 years ago, and I give her (and her dog) an A+ for her exceptional customer service. The location itself has always felt safe, and they keep it very clean and maintained. Price is very comparable to other facilities in Guelph, and there has only been one price increase since I started renting. I am happy with them and intend on staying as long as I need to rent a storage facility.
