Could NOT be more thrilled with their work, they restored my AE Daltons to immaculate condition. I thought I had worn those things into the ground, but they look and feel new now. Definitely coming here again. Great craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Ive been to see Pablo a few times to get much needed repairs to shoes or other leather items. And he always knocks it out of the park when it comes to both the quality and type of work he does. He sells almost all saphir products to keep footwear looking its best. He saved a very loved pair of wingtip boots that needed some work on the heels. Ive attached photos, the boots are close to 7 years old now. Thanks for all that you and your amazing staff do Pablo!!
I can't say enough good things about Dimar! I came across an issue with an item I gave for repair, and Dimar went above and beyond to find a solution. They manage their business with kindness and integrity! Probably one of my best and most memorable customer service experience!!!
Updated based on owner response, original review still found at the bottom: Update - the store contacted me following my review and worked quickly to ensure I would be able to pick up my shoes and receive a refund in a timely manner. Miscommunications happen, I appreciate their quick work to resolve the issue when it was raised to their attention. Original - I was informed on Wednesday Sept 14th (the day my shoes were due for delivery) that my climbing shoe repairs would be delayed due to the soles being held up at the border and was given the option to get a refund or continue to wait. I opted to wait, thinking if it takes another week without hearing anything I'll get them back then. Today (Tue Sept 20), having still not heard back about my order being complete, I decided I was tired of waiting and went to get my shoes back and have my order refunded. I found out on arrival the store is not open and won't be for the remainder of the week. No one informed me of the fact I'd be waiting at least 2 weeks due to store closure if I opted to wait, and there's no chance I would have opted to wait if I'd known I wouldn't even have the option to come get my unrepaired shoes during that time. Dimar's failure to notify customers who were waiting on the fulfillment of their orders is horribly unprofessional.
Really good quality repair. Theres not a lot of places that fix boots and shoes nowadays, so finding Dimar and realising that their prices are really good was a plus. I won't mention that its located downtown Guelph, close to everything around. So it's a convenient place to stop by.
