I went into Emco trying to find parts for a nine year old kitchen faucet. I was served promptly by Devon behind the Emco counter. She was convinced my part was a warranty item. I showed her photos of the faucet and she went that extra mile to find the model number of the product. She coached me about calling the manufacturer and wrote the details on a business card for me. Five days later a new faucet replacement nozzle arrived at my door as a warranty replacement. Emco is great. They aren't trying to sell they're trying to help. With service like that I'll be back soon. They're terrific!
I have purchased produce here before (with excellent friendly service)and went to buy a replacement water filter and another filter and was unceremoniously told by a fellow" we don't sell to the public anymore". With economic conditions and people struggling it must be nice to tell some one to go away who was going to spend a couple of hundred dollars.
I have on order 2 taps..one came in on time and the other the date has moved 3 times. I don't blame Emco for the manufacturers delays. However my rating has to do with service from Emco. I have to keep chasing them for updates. Last I heard the one tap should be in last Friday and haven't heard from them and have no idea when it is coming. I had to have my plumber come 4 times because of misinformation so it is costing me way more than I budgeted for. I would have preferred to be contacted on the date expected and told the next expected delivery date with continual follow ups. Hopefully they can improve and exceed customer service in the future.
Had a major water leak in shower. With no hardware stores open. Took a drive by and saw they where open for contractors. Took a chance and explained my situation. They asked me to stay outside?and the young lady did everything she could do to help me. She got me all the right parts. I just want to express my thanks for the help.?
I recently had the best customer service ever dealing with Michelle at Emco Guelph. When her efforts hit a wall her help went so far as to refer me to her supplier who spent about 20 minutes helping me through my difficult problem. Unfortunately their efforts did not end in a sale but I would recommend Emco Guelph to anyone seeking plumbing supplies. GOOD PEOPLE!!!
Absolutely outstanding service and incredibly knowledgeable! Had the part I needed in stock and covered under warranty. They had closed their parts department for the day but the kind lady in the showroom called over and had them open back up for me. Highly recommend!
Despite the two poor reviews I decided to stop and check them out. I was attended to promptly and given as much time as I wanted to ask question and be shown various baths, vanities and medicine cabinets. All their product is high quality. I'd recommend this store to anyone contemplating serious bathroom renovations.
