Laura is fantastic! My daughter had hurt her rotator cuff just prior to the start of her ball season. Within 3 weeks she was back on the field and feeling great! We have told everyone about Defy and will continue to do so - what a great facility!
This facility offers so many valuable resources. Being a competitive swimmer, y Laura and Jared have helped me recover from 3 bi-lateral knee operations. They used their knowledge of the human body and passion for sport to develop a personalized plan for my return to sport. I highly recommend this clinic for all ages and types of injuries.
This facility has so much more to offer than a typical physiotherapy clinic. The large, open concept gym space with a pull-up rig, turf, free weights and state of the art rehabilitation equipment/tools is an amazing addition to not only the manual therapy skills, but also to the coaching that Jared and Laura provide. Their goal is not only to help you recover from injury - it is also to educate and coach you on how to prevent future injury from occurring. Their progressive attitude towards injury rehabilitation and performance training is a refreshing (and much needed) niche in the community of Guelph and its surrounding areas.
