Horrible customer service. I went in to get two hats done as a Christmas gifts the cap came out lovely however the beanie was stitched to the point that when you wear it you could feel the writing on your forehead. Went back in the morning only to be refused service to fix it and to the lady openly being disrespectful towards me when a clear and obvious mistake was made.
Went in to have my daughters baseball hat engraved asked for red lettering … well ended up with white lettering .. solution live with it or leave it till later tonight or tomorrow.. because there other customers ! Unfortunately a upset little girl with resolution.
I came into Lids in last Saturday and my experience was very welcoming and was extremely satisfied with my service. The guy who was working did an excellent job at helping me find exactly what I was looking for and was very friendly.
Completely awful customer service and overall experience. If you are looking for a custom hat I highly recommend going literally anywhere else for it - even a different Lid’s location. I work in customer service as well and despite my own patience with them, I know a lot of other customers would not (and should not) put up with that. I had to revisit the store 4-5 different times all because they were disorganized and uneducated in their jobs. I have never written a review before - let alone a negative one - but I genuinely just want to deter other customers from getting a huge run-around for a half decent embroidery job. Specifically, the girl named Emma there (blonde hair and glasses) was unprofessional and short-tempered for NO reason. Judging based on my own experiences (on multiple different days) and the amount of other negative reviews, it looks like Lid’s in Stone Road Mall needs to update their staff asap.
I had an amazing first time experience at lids. It was very busy due to Christmas shopping but, employee Emma had us all taken care of and did an amazing job!! Will be doing business again here. I recommend shopping here.
Recently visited the lids in Stone Road mall. Guelph was told that I had to spend an extra $13 for a membership or I wasn’t allowed to purchase a specific hat till the day after. what a scam. Go pound sand lids …. If there was an option for zero stars, you would definitely deserve it.
The only reason why this store gets a 5 star review is because of the lady named Emma, she is super kind, and friendly, she was very helpful, this are the type of employees that are an asset to a company, and make a difference.
