This was my first visit to this great little place. The conversation was really nice and the food, as it turns out, is also excellent. The maple breakfast sausages were delicious, and the Italian sausage that I sampled wasn't as spicy as I was expecting, so will grab for next time. The real treat however was the mushroom and herbs pork sausage - big and great tasting. BTW ladies I did cook them sous vide from frozen, and they were fantastic! Took about 3 hours at 165F and I just used my kitchen torch to put a bit of a sear on them. The family was ecstatic they tasted so good. See you next time.
The new owner is great. I often have put in large food orders from the previous owner. The new owner put through my order just as effortless as the first one. The meat quality is fantastic! the research that has been done to insure healthy meat for my family gives me one stop shopping peace of mind. Thanks
Cute farm-fresh, whole foods type store. You can buy organic meats, eggs, cheeses, etc. as well as prepared meals and baked goods. Price wise it's pretty much what you'd expect for that kind of quality product, they do have sales on from time to time that make students shopping there much more reasonable. Friendly staff.
I was surprised to see Bella Roma listed as a 'Butcher Shop'. Sure, you can get some fantastic fresh meats there, but their hot foods are the real reason I keep going back. Worth checking out at the first opportunity you have and you are needing a special hot meal for guests or family. Try the yummy turkey loaf -- yes you are reading this right! I said _Turkey Loaf_ . I detest meat loaf and I am not even a ground turkey fan. Nevertheless this stuff is great! Kids love it too. While you are at try the store made cranberry chutney to go with it! They have an weekly online menu as well, but for some reason, they aren't showcasing it here...
