Lovely little place, sandwiches are fantastic — quality ingredients. Didn’t try the pastries but they also looked good. They have some premade food, craft beers and wine, homemade ice cream. Bit pricey but you’re paying for quality. Staff were friendly, highly recommend it!

The eggplant sandwich is a must. Cooked to a buttery texture and served on crispy focaccia. A taste delight. We had the veggie sandwich as well. So delicious. Take a friend share the sandwiches so you get to experience all the goodness. Our server, CC was friendly and informative about the food. We’ll be back.
Genuinely the best sandwich ive had in years, maybe ever, it felt like it was a cubic foot worth of sandwich. The place is a bit cramped inside, but my girlfriend and I didnt care after the first bite.
I’ve been a regular visitor to Sugo on Surrey for a few years now so definitely needed to check out the Mercato and it was worth the trip. Being able to buy fresh focaccia alone would have made it worth it, but the cinnamon bun, cookie, and sandwiches we purchased were also all great. Indoor seating is limited, but there is patio space outside, and everything is easy to take home and enjoy. I’ll definitely be going back and would highly recommend a visit.
I don’t live in Guelph anymore so when I visit I make sure to stop in…. I went here three times in two days to have the chicken parm sandwich….so yes I’d recommend.
