Seemed like a tense environment. Girl seemed miserable. No prices for baked goods, how annoying to have to ask for each item. Sandwiches were small for the price you pay. Thought we'd try it but won't be back.

We stopped by University Square Bakery today for some deli meats and bread. My husband picked out 4 different cuts, and I got a day-old sliced bread loaf for $2.99. However, when we got home and opened the loaf, we were disappointed to find a huge hole in the center - it looked more like a doughnut bread than a regular loaf! Given the price, we expected better quality. The staff, particularly the two ladies who served us, were friendly and attentive, which is why I'm giving 2 stars. However, the product quality issue was a major letdown. Unfortunately, driving back to return it wasn't feasible, so we made do. Hopefully, they'll take steps to improve their quality control. *Pros:* Friendly staff *Cons:* Poor bread quality, misleading product Won't be back, unfortunately.
Great deli ! Nice fresh bread Fantastic cold cuts Awesome sweets Grabbed a sub to go….no eat in option…found a nice park nearby to enjoy Sub was amazing…just what I was looking for. Also grabbed some onion buns to go As well as some sweets. Sugar donut and salty caramel brownie were top notch
Stopped in Guelph for work and grabbed lunch here, super friendly staff, deli sandwich was delicious, got some squares to go with and they were awesome as well. Plenty of options of baked goods and deli goods. Great quality, will stop in again for sure.
Great local place to get desserts, bread (especially buns), cheese, and cold cuts. This place has been here a long time and they have always had great quality food.
