This place is amazing ❤️?. I have a catch and release cat that I shelter. She was in desperate need of medical assistance with health issues. After contacting many vets in Hamilton, I was disappointed that they had strict appointment times. Being a Ctch & Release cat it was hard time frame her for an appointment so nothing worked out. A friend told me about New Hope Cat Rescue I Guelph. I called and was able to take her in that evening at 5:30. It was 45 min from Hamilton but was well worth the trip. When we arrived we were met with friendly and pleasant people. Dr. Kate was fantastic, as were the other staff ! She took my Tubby and checked her out. She needed teeth pulled as she was full of infection. They kept her overnight and did surgery next morning. Tubby was given a 2 week antibiotic shot. She was like a new cat. New Hope is a place that actually cares about the cats and the owners. This Cat Rescue rates 150% out of a %. I had a wonderful experience adopting my kitten. The volunteer run rescue is very caring about their animals and where they will end up. I would recommend adopting from here to everyone!

This is an amazing place more like kitty Heaven . This is a no kill shelter that is run by loving volunteers. There are no cages and very much a home environment for the cats . I have adopted 3x from them and have always been impressed by the love and care they put into the animals.
My husband and I had a great experience with this shelter. We adopted 2 kittens who received excellent care in their foster home. At 3 months old the kittens were well socialized and comfortable with being handled. The adoption process was straightforward and the very reasonable fees included vet check-ups, initial vaccinations, and spay/neutering at 6 months. I highly recommend this well-run shelter!
Awesome organization. They recommend pets anonymous who came and trapped a mother and baby feral cat. Both places are my charities of choice. No kill as well. For anybody looking to make charitable donations, both new hope and cats anonymous are very worthy of your help!
Always feels like visiting with family. Staff is warm and welcoming. We're never rushed and someone is eager to answer all our questions. 10 out of 10 every time!!!
